Judy,, so here was I looking for a recipe (another dish) when I came across this one for horseradish sauce but alas no mayonnaise. Horseradish sauce - Traditional Ingredients. 4tb Grated Horseradish 1tb Caster Sugar 1ts Salt 2 ts Mustard, English 1/2sp Pepper 4tb Single cream A little malt vinegar can be added though this is not recommended. Mix all in a bowl and stir anti-clockwise, and just my suggestion is to substitute the cream for mayonnaise,and I suppose that with most recipes certain ingredients can be left out and others added such as my beetroot and horseradish sauce I add some red wine vinegar. best thing you can use horseradish for is horseradish mustard I have a excellent recipe that we have been making in the restaurant for years... But I can not seem to get any at the moment.

I just recently came across a seed seller which I highly recommend (and they have Salsify). Check out www.boondieseeds.com.au. You're out of luck if you are in Tas or Wa though. Happy gardening!

Most of the garden centres should have them. I got my last lot from Masters - DT Brown brand so they should be available at most resellers. (Yates and Mr Fothergill's also have okra seeds.) Alternately e-bay sellers have them as long as you are not in TAS/WA.

Plant the whole fruit in a place where a massive amount of leafy vines can trellis up and over (we plant this in May here)... even a bottomless 18" deep drum full of compost/well drained rich soil will work quite well but definitely plant it once and let it go. It harvests here quite heavily right at fall and puts on massive leafy vines with MANY fruit from only one single squash planted. It is quite nice to have for a summer tasting versatile squash that is a heavy producer in the fall after zucchini and yellow crookneck are long gone from squash bug damage.

Yes. We have two plants growing in black 500mm plastic pots. Already made two lots of jam. Put mulch on top of soil and keep well watered.

Hi you can get yarcon at the moment at tass1 trees in jane brook midland i got 2 this week but not many as they are so rare here in western australia they are $15 each hope they still have some ...kind regards

i sowed some carrots and beetroots in late may. they sprouted within 3 weeks, but growth is very slow and i am only just seeing true leaves on carrots and on some beetroots. is this normal ?
