Easy to grow. Plant as crowns. Best planted at soil temperatures between 16°C and 30°C. (Show °F/in)
Space plants: 20 - 40 cm apart
Harvest in 2-3 years. Plant 'crowns' to harvest earlier .
Compatible with (can grow beside): Parsley, Basil, Nasturtiums, Lettuce
Avoid growing close to: Garlic, Onions, and root vegetables

01 May 20, Domhnal MacMathghamhna (Canada - zone 4a Temperate Warm Summer climate): Asparagus can be notoriously difficult to harvest so I recommend going on the internet and asking your question, including your zone information.....you'll find countless sites that discuss growing this challenging vegetable.

26 Oct 20, Anonymous (Canada - Zone 6a Temperate Warm Summer climate): Asparagus is simple to harvest. The shoot/spear comes out of the ground and when it is 6-12 inches high, cut it.
